JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Executive, Performance and Monitoring supports the Planning & Operations function by managing performance tracking, operational dashboards, KPI monitoring, and progress reporting for State Digital Economy Office (SDEO) initiatives nationwide.

The role ensures structured monitoring, data accuracy, and timely visibility of state-level programmes, enabling HQ and leadership to track execution progress, identify risks, and support evidence-based decision-making.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performance Monitoring & KPI Tracking

  • Support the development, maintenance, and monitoring of KPIs for SDEO programmes and state-level initiatives.
  • Track progress against agreed milestones, targets, and deliverables across states and workstreams.
  • Monitor variances, delays, and performance risks, and flag issues for escalation and follow-up.
  • Ensure consistency in KPI definitions, measurement approaches, and reporting formats.


Dashboard & Reporting

  • Support the development and upkeep of operational dashboards for monitoring and leadership reporting.
  • Consolidate inputs from SDEO regional offices into structured performance views and summaries.
  • Prepare periodic performance updates, dashboards, and briefing materials for management reviews and coordination meetings.
  • Work closely with the Insights & Data team to align indicators, datasets, and reporting logic.


Programme & Delivery Tracking

  • Track execution status of state programmes, labs, workshops, and strategic initiatives coordinated by SDEO.
  • Maintain structured trackers for activities, timelines, outputs, and outcomes across initiatives.
  • Support post-programme reviews by consolidating delivery data, outcomes, and lessons learned.
  • Assist in monitoring commitments arising from leadership meetings, state engagements, and strategic sessions.


Coordination with States & Internal Stakeholders

  • Coordinate with SDEO regional offices to ensure timely submission of performance data and updates.
  • Provide guidance on reporting templates, tracking tools, and performance submission requirements.
  • Act as a coordination point between Planning & Operations and SDEO on monitoring and reporting matters.


Data Quality, Documentation & Governance Support

  • Perform basic data validation and consistency checks on submitted performance data.
  • Maintain organised records of performance trackers, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Support adherence to agreed reporting cycles, governance processes, and documentation standards.
  • Contribute inputs to audits, reviews, or internal assessments related to programme performance.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Public Policy, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in performance monitoring, programme management, operations tracking, or reporting roles.
  • Experience supporting dashboards, KPIs, or programme tracking in public sector or large organisations is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data and reporting tools.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

1.      Support and execute daily operations to meet agreed organizational performance plans within agreed quality and timescales

·       Process work permit and other type of passes applications received by the Expats Service Centre to ensure adherence to client charters and maintain performance standards.

JOB PURPOSE

To serve as the frontline representative of MDEC by conducting outbound engagements with stakeholders and managing inbound inquiries across multiple communication channels. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tertiary education from any recognized institute of Higher Learning (IHL) in Business Administration, Communications, Customer Service, Public Relations or any other related field.
  • 1–3 years of working experience in customer service, client engagement, or stakeholder management role.
  • Experience in contact centre / hospitality / aviation industry will be an added advantage
  • Experience in handling both inbound and outbound communications (calls, emails, live chat, or social media channels) will be an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in government agency, GLC, or corporate customer service environment is preferred
